S/Sgt. William Martin "Bill" Mosher, of Beloit, Wisconsin, served as a ball turret gunner with the 547th Bomb Squadron, and flew 19 missions from July through September 1944 before being transferred to another Bomb Group. It is unknown which Group, but his obituary states that he was flying on B-29s and was honorably discharged in 1945. 

7 years later, he married his wife, Fredna, with whom he would spend 44 years. Together, they had a daughter and began a new life in Galveston, Texas. There, Mosher served as a detective for the Galveston Police Department, and retired in 1986. 

After his retirement, Mosher had time for his favorite hobbies, deer and duck hunting, and traveled with his wife. They moved to Missouri, back to Texas, and eventually to Nebraska. 

Throughout his life, Mosher was deeply devoted to community service, giving generously to his church and various organizations, including the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), the El Mina Shrine Club (a charitable group that supported children's hospitals), and several Masonic lodges (a community brotherhood) where he served as a local leader. 

He lived to the age of 75, and lies in rest in Kearney, Nebraska, a fitting final home since that was one of the places the 384th trained.
